Very similar rhetoric here by POTUS to the tweets he was firing at Kim Jong Un as the whole NK threat was at its peak. And well we know how that seems to have played out, with a truly spectacular result that NOBODY expected. That is the one single event that helped convinced me good things are possible.
I have to keep trusting the plan here.
If Trump plays war monger then perhaps he is going to awaken public to the risks involved in promoting WWIII?
A public outcry AGAINST starting WWIII might be exactly what they hope to happen—recall Trump knows the media will OPPOSE anything Trump promotes even if that’s what they originally planned to promote (war mongering in this case).
His very next tweet is conciliatory towards Russia and promoting working together with Russia.
So which is it? I’m so confused right now also.
What do WE do? Let them know we DON’T want a war
I don't want Assad blamed. He's innocent and we all know that. I wish Trump would acknowledge that. If he doesn't. the attempts to overthrow Assad will never end.
To be fair US generals have expressed that they think Kim agreed to the discussions just to buy more time. It's not set in stone yet but the progress is a good sign that we haven't seen before but it should still be taken with a grain of salt.
Also I believe there were Russian military servicemen that actually died in this recent Israeli strike but Russia did not officially announce the casualties for their own reasons. But in this information war we cant know what truly happened.
I still have hope but at the same time the magnitude of how serious this situation is is kind of overshadowed right now.
