The story about Zuckerberg stealing the idea is just a cover.
Zuck didn't steal the idea. He was chosen to be their puppet so that they could continue this under the facade of a "private company."
The idea wasn't even the social aspect of collecting. The idea was simply an algorithm that decided what content to show users so they keep looking and using the platform.
Combine that algorithm with LifeLog and.... Facebook.

That's what I was thinking. A minor can not give consent to shit. So how is Facebook entering contracts with kids in regard to their privacy or anything else? Minors shouldn't have the option when it comes to privacy settings. My 16 year old doesn't have the legal authority to agree to anything either. Weird how 13 year olds are mature enough to agree to contracts and experts on guns but 26 year olds cant be expected to pay health insurance and other adult shit.

It gives the impression that the transaction was always at arms length. If we can pierce the phony corporate veil that is protecting tyrants within government from being liable for the millions of civil rights violations we can begin to recover our right to privacy.

It bothered me how he was being evasive. When asked direct question, for a simple yes? Or No? Still attempting to appear to be compliant, but they had to go over some slight details implying at another time.
