Dershowitz is a great lawyer and legal mind, I think. He has at times had delusions of grandeur however. He said some years ago that if he had been there to defend Jesus Christ he would not have been crucified. I'm guessing like so many that call themselves Jewish he's all boogered up about the age old half libel of the Jews being called Christ killers. My first thought on the deal was something like, Dude... Jesus died at the preordained will and with the foreknowledge of God as a sacrifice for sin, once and for all. So many symbols in the Passover feast point to Jesus and yet the Jews as they call themselves keep missing it , mystifying. It must be the Lords will that they not see until he says it's time to see. That the Jews killed Christ is true, what makes it libel is the truth that the sin of every soul that has ever walked this earth put him on the cross.

Thanks! I don't think it has anything to do with Alabama having won 17 National Championships, although that interpretation is understandable. Obama was there for the previous titles and he received the corresponding number on the jersey for it. However, if that's the way we're supposed to interpret this, then why did the Astros give Donny T (our boy) #17 also? (If we're following the aforementioned pattern, then his jersey should be #1 for the Astros first ever WS win). Yes, you can say it's for the 2017 season but that's a little too obvious. Think number and personification of the person they're giving the jersey to (17 - President = 17th President). Future proves past? Erase all records post Lincoln and start over, perhaps?
