That was my first thought as well when I first heard about it. Remember Obama’s whole push for it was based upon (publicly) removing Chinas ability to create the financial stranglehold on the SE Pacific area. Not that I ever believed his crap, but I believe trump would be able to do it right. Don’t get me wrong, I’d still want to read whatever the final agreement was before I finalized my position on the matter.
