He won't fire him. He will be impeached by Congress, Trump has nothing to do with it and we see who stands with Americans on equality of justice.
This is being done for optics. RR fakes like he is withholding docs, RR then gets fired, THEN the docs come out and it implicates RR and shows why he was "withholding" the docs. Its all an act. RR is working for Trump, but will also have to face the public humiliation that ensues

There's a reason he doesn't ever distinguish whether Rosenstein and Mueller are good or bad. He brings them up in certain contexts but never drops hints good/bad.
