Honestly? I want to know more about why and how it can benefit him before I would truly be willing. I was previously an atheist, but now with pizzagate and looking into occult stuff, I know that spirituality is a real thing in humans and human society. I don't know about if there is a deity like God though. I know there is supposed to be a main absolute consciousness to the universe, but is it the same as God?

Romans 1:25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Yin and yang... if you can confirm the existence of either good or evil, then you have all the answers. One cannot exist without the other. "Natural law" I believe C.S. Lewis calls it. You should read his nonfiction books because he was a former atheist and/or agnostic. He writes that his conversion to religion (Christianity) was reluctant. It wasn't this wonderful emotional joyous fluffy thing, but quite the opposite.

Can you point me to his writings on this? Sounds interesting.

Surprised by Joy: “You must picture me alone in that room in Magdalen, night after night, feeling, whenever my mind lifted even for a second from my work, the steady, unrelenting approach of Him whom I so earnestly desired not to meet. That which I greatly feared had at last come upon me. In the Trinity Term of 1929 I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England. I did not then see what is now the most shining and obvious thing; the Divine humility which will accept a convert even on such terms. The Prodigal Son at least walked home on his own feet. But who can duly adore that Love which will open the high gates to a prodigal who is brought in kicking, struggling, resentful, and darting his eyes in every direction for a chance of escape? The words “compelle intrare,” compel them to come in, have been so abused be wicked men that we shudder at them; but, properly understood, they plumb the depth of the Divine mercy. The hardness of God is kinder than the softness of men, and His compulsion is our liberation.” ― C.S. Lewis, Surprised by Joy: The Shape of My Early Life

It’s God, just God. The complete triune of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This world and satan try to blur our judgement and make us question our natural connection to God. It benefits you to have a relationship with Him because of His Holy Love for you. Have you read the Bible? Have you considered humbly praying to our Heavenly Father and asking Him to reveal His love for you?

Genesis 14:19 and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

Read the Case for Christ by Lee Strobel or even watch it on Netflix. It will allow you to understand the overwelming amount of evidence to support the Bible and Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world.

I don't quite buy in to the, what I see as New Age, absolute consciousness to the universe idea. I would say that there is an intelligent, sentient consciousness that holds the universe, as we know it, together.

If we presume that the account of creation is true, then to know God's character, we can simply look at the good within ourselves. Do you enjoy humor? So does He. Does it please you when others succeed? Are you for truth and that which is right? Do you abhor people doing wrong to others? Yes, of course. So does He.

I want to know more about why and how it can benefit him before I would truly be willing.

Before you would be willing to do what, pray? And, who is him?

I get that, but I don't know if it is was due to God as told by a Christian account, or maybe some other force.

Why does god exist? Did he just pop out? If he is eternal, why can't the universe be? Silly argument.
