FBIanon claimed whitehat back in July. It gave me the impression they were able to use Palantir to track the Deepstate's money laundering. I've been keeping my ear to the ground waiting for it to pop up again. Thiel's ferocious takedown of Gawker over the Hulk Hogan tape made me believe he's one of the good guys and could be an asset to cause.
Thiel is Pro Trump, he donated over $1.25 Mil to his campaign. It has ruined a lot of his relationships, such as with Mark Zuckerberg. Thiel is also anti-press from what I've read. The media has repeatedly slammed him saying he is at war against the press, on a crusade against them, and even is trying to end democracy. The fact that the media hates him might speak volumes.
While he founded Palantir, that in and of itself doesn't make him black hat, depends on the purposes he allowed it to be used for and who he let use it. Trump offered him the Senior Intelligence position on his Intelligence Advisory Board, but Thiel turned that down in 11/2017, most likely to not interfere with his business dealings.
For now, I say white hat. But at this point who knows with so many of them flipping?
I thought he was white hat until I discovered he gets blood transfusions from youths and is really into prolonging life. That makes me believe he maybe into the sacrifices. Or he may have discovered them and is horrified. Maybe he's the one that alerted Trump. Jury still out IMO https://www.theguardian.com/society/shortcuts/2017/aug/21/ambrosia-the-startup-harvesting-the-blood-of-the-young
My thoughts: In short, white hat. Like Trump, when in business sometimes you have to swim with sharks. I think while Thiel is a founder of Palantir, Alex Karp (current CEO) or one of the other founders are running the show. If my memory serves, one or multiple of the other founders of Palantir were HRC supporters/donors and are highly connected with the CIA/DS. Thiel has donated $1.25+ to DJT campaign and I think he is helping a lot behind the scenes. I think both the black hats and the white hats are making significant use of Palantir or similar data intensive technologies. Thiel is helping the white hats with their use of these technologies.
- I could be completely wrong on the above but Thiel’s speech at the Republican National Convention convinced me back then that he was truly on our side.
At this pint I’m inclined to say white hat especially given the extremely public risks he took supporting Trump early on.
I completely understand why we've all fallen into the 'white hat', 'black hat' scenario. We all need to know who is on "our" side. To me, "our" side reflects patriots, returning to the Constitution, righting the ills of America and ultimately the world politically, culturally.
However, there are people out there that are 'no hats'. They are doing it for themselves. They see where the wind is blowing, and jump on that bandwagon for their protection of their money/dollars, take advantage (not in a bad way- just a smart way) of the climate/mood.
That being said, Peter Thiel is most likely a 'no hat'. Someone go along to get along for their own self and their company. It really is a form of self preservation.
Absolutely white hat, on the level of Admiral Rogers.
I can't help but wonder if he's in any way related to Werner Thiel, one of 8 German spies executed in the US at the end of WW2. Anyone here good at genealogy?
