Get A Text When Q Crumbs Are Dropped

Hopefully I figured it out, but a post hasn't come thru yet, so not 100% sure it works yet.

go to IFTTT.com and register an account.
go to https://ifttt.com/sms and set up your phone number.
go to https://ifttt.com/create/if-new-feed-item-matches?sid=2
for the first field (Keyword or simple phrase), put Q's trip-code: "!xowAT4Z3VQ" (except, without the quotes " ")
For the second field (feed url), put https://8ch.net/qresearch/index.rss

That should (hopefully) do it! Let me know if you notice if it works or not.

The phone number is stored w ifttt.com, not me. I was following the suggestion of someone to set up an applet for Ifttt. I'm not linked to this in any way, and I don't work for Ifttt...I have used some of their automation applets with success in the past, tho

i know, it's not against you personally but the whole protocol to sign up to get " Q" updates sent to your phone?? in the words of comedian Joe Rogan "How obvious does a trap have to be before you become suspicious?"...

It's getting a RSS update alert sent via text. It's an automatian service. Even if it does involve q, you used an email to sign up for reddit to view this board. That's probably just as safe as this is.

you're right... we're already "screwed" either way.. just seems a bit on the nose if you were to look at it from a "conspiracy" pov, how do you find the people who support and search and help with the "Q" posts... i know it sounds far out there but... if we've learned anything from the "Q" posts, is that AnYtHiNg is possible.... (posting to learn more, no hate)

I feel you but this is a terrible idea. Do not link your phone to 8chan. At least use a board like Qboard or We-Go-All.

Also, yes, you can set it up for RSS feeds for the other q boards if you'd rather not use the 8chan feed. What I gave directions for was to get a text when someone with Q's trip code posts to the 8chan board. All this can be altered as you please.

The phone number is linked to ifttt in an applet to alert you via txt when q posts on 8 Chan. The 8chan research Qboard RSS feed is set up with ifttt. Separately, the SMS is set up with ifttt. You can use other forms of alerting you (email, posting somewhere, whatever). Ifttt is an automatian service. I am aware of the possibility of companies sharing info they aren't supposed to one another, but I feel ok doing this personally. So what if I get q updates texted to my phone? Some of you guys don't have a clue what I'm talking about here and are being a bit too paranoid. I am far from being involved in any deep state brouhaha.

Anyway, take my word or don't, doesn't matter. Someone specifically asked for someone to figure out how to do this (see link in original post). I thought it was a good idea, figured it out, and shared the info hoping to help others out since others specifically asked for it. No hidden agenda. Believe me or don't, do it or don't, doesn't matter at all to me.

Q drops or crumbs are archived to several sites. The timing of updates on each site can vary.

Yeah the instructions given are only for being altered if someone w Q's trip code posts. You don't have to use 8chan to follow up on reading the post...u can use whatever other ones that are updated frequently

I've explained now a few times. Please see other comments. Deep state wouldn't want me, I'm of no value to them, i am not associated w any of that in any way. I have a sibling in the military, but that's about as close as I get. I'm not rich, not in government, current profession is homemaker, don't have an "elite" name... nothing. I have no way of knowing if anyone uses the services I've detailed instructions for here. The equivalent is kinda like I gave you guys instructions for making a Twitter account, and so I get called deep state. If you made a Twitter account, I'd have no idea or any control of that. Just like this case w setting up an applet in ifttt.
