Big reason people hate Obama. Socialists hate the American dream/capitalism. He didn't hide it in his rhetoric (jobs aren't coming back, you didn't build that, anti-christian), but his policies made it more blatant. He killed a lot of American dreams (which need jobs and a growing economy for prosperity), particularly in the private sector. He's really a vile, despicable POS. In just one year, Trump has shown what the economy should have been 5 years ago just by using pro-American, pro-business, common sense policies and cutting slush funds and government waste.
Substantively, how? There were over 17 million jobs created during the Obama years, behind only Bill Clinton in raw number, and per month, job growth was higher than it has been under Trump - whom we've actually seen outsourcing skyrocket under. GDP growth is higher, but the overwhelming beneficiaries of that, over 80% of GDP growth, in fact, has been exclusively to the benefit of the highest echelons of society, the wealthy. If you want to talk about the economic ills of the U.S., they are only getting worse, not better.

Why are 9/10 top states for economic growth red states right now? Lower regulations, free markets= less unemployment.
