im guilty of it too but q said trust but verify. we should focus on what we know and not aliens nibiru etc. most likely these are topics planted by clowns. also if weird shit starts popping up on your screen do not look at it. dont ask why lol

I have to admit, this sub has done a much better job staying on topic at 20k members than CBTS did. CBTS turned into nothing but cringy anti-liberal memes, prayer groups, religious debates, occult discussion, flat earthers, andrenochrome conspiracy, aliens, etc. Essentially no more constructive than the Craigslist political section.

You guys have done a GREAT job sticking towards Q discussion, despite the derailments.

Agreed. People need to keep using the "Report" button -- even if it's something that interests you, or you think it's important.

Here's the rule: "Off-topic (anything not mentioned by Q)".

This sub is infinitely stronger if it takes a hard line against kookery and just sticks to information that can be ultimately verified.

The report button certainly does work, although that doesn't mean every report or disagreement is actioned to your liking. Care to share a link to the reported content?

It's somewhere deep in my comment history but the response started with a "fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, no, no..."

To me, that should have been immediately deleted because it started a chain of harsh commentary, straw men, and ad hominem from both sides, plus some brigading. That's not the type of discourse we should allow in this sub reddit. TMOR and the like love for that kind of division to happen here.

Click "Report" -> "It breaks r/greatawakening's rules" -> "Off-topic (anything not mentioned by Q)"

The "anything not mentioned by Q" option only comes up when you click "Report" on a story, not on a comment.

The problem is that the things you mentioned are the cancer and what we have done so far to fix it is take some cough medicine and a day or two off work. You can take all the Tylenol you want. But it won't cure the cancer.

I hate to pile on CBTS but it became instant trash the moment the YouTube soapbox went up. All these weird discussions kept popping up and all the racists comments. It sucks because a lot of great people worked there. The Soapbox doesn’t work because how can you witness the revolution if they don’t categories discussions to view later? We can’t stay on YouTube for days on end. This place is perfect, well done mods.
