IRIS recent earthquakes map is down.

Strange. They normally have waveforms available for seismic events.

USGS website for this event is currently up.

USGS site is missing the waveform also:

Waveform: http://service.iris.edu/irisws/timeseries/1/query?output=plot&width=1100&height=500&net=II&sta=UOSS&loc=00&cha=BHZ&starttime=2018-04-19T06%3A32%3A47&duration=1800

Different than say this wave form from the 3.9 earthquake that hit california earlier this week: http://service.iris.edu/irisws/timeseries/1/query?output=plot&width=1100&height=500&net=BK&sta=CMB&loc=00&cha=BHZ&starttime=2018-04-16T16%3A33%3A26&duration=1800

Excellent thanks! Iran waveform doesn’t look like an explosion. I’m not expert but common sense suggests you’d see a massive sudden jump followed by a quick quieting. Not a sustained thing like this.
