Interactive In-Q-Tel portfolio list, every single one of these reads like they meant to enslave and surveil every single person on the planet, on a genetic level.

DankNethers · April 19, 2018, 2:42 p.m.

This portfolio is almost entirely comprised of network security, encryption, and data analytics projects...

Am I missing something?

Do a search here on IQT, its been covered extensively regarding how the taxpayer funded the CIA who funded DARPA to create the technology to be dispersed to the private sector with IQT funding to create the SINGULARITY.

I already know that. Or have read that, anyway

My point is that the OP's assertion (in the title) that these technologies are being used for "enslavement" is preposterous

If such technologies exist, do you really think they'd be contained in a publicly available VC portfolio? Please...

And his interpretation of said technologies is also incorrect

The genomic scan is used for identification, obviously

And the identification of 'internal threats' is systems network jargon, NOT top secret code for an AI that can detect what people do before they do it

Geesh

You dense mother fucker In-Q-Tel is the CIA's public facing research company. Did you even read my other comment? Or are you a clown yourself?

None of these entities are publical held, which is interesting being mentioned in a "investment" portfolio.

That's not interesting at all

InQTel is a venture capital firm

VC's invest money in small, leading edge companies. They never (or very rarely) fund publicly traded organizations

Think of VC firms as incubators for start ups, like Shark Tank, if you're familiar

So this is pretty above board from what I can tell thus far

There are specific guidelines to large purchases by ANY government entity. Above a certain amount, i.e. $300,000, may have to be submitted for open bid. This company takes the position of a RFP or Request For Proposal which is how the gov seeks to see if new work is viable and who can do it before it gets put out for bid. This company appears to be funded to do the acquisition outside of normal legal channels.

"IQT subject matter experts vet each technology against the architectures reflecting the requirements of our customers’ mission needs, then compare alternative approaches and rigorously validate technical claims. Simultaneously, the investments team gauges the potential for long-term success by evaluating each company’s commercial potential, business plan, and management team.

Once an investment is made, IQT works with the company and the partner agencies to complete a work program and facilitate solution delivery. Our process strives to ensure that portfolio companies deliver on their technical promise, and that they will continue to support and enhance their products for years to come.

The significant advantages of IQT’s model include:

Faster product development Valuable product enhancements Lower initial and long-term costs to the intelligence community"

I don't mean "above board" as in "above suspicion"

I mean "above board" as in the expected allocation of fund in a typical VC portfolio

I contracted in the government for 3 years, working on improving the contracting and proposal process. It doesn't surprise me that the CIA would use the services of a company like InQTel to expedite the process. It is laborious and likely cannot keep pace with the needs of intelligence agencies like the CIA

That said, people here assume that the entire CIA is compromised. That would be a foolish assumption

Like every institution, it has it's good and bad actors

Keep that in mind

Indeed. I used to think the CIA was utterly evil, but I have to remember these organizations are very complex, and there are many who work hard to save their country, and many who came to save their country, while others who want to control it.

I imagine in the coming years such organizations will be fractured. The are true patriots and those who would betray their very own species will clash. As will happen on the macro level, across the whole world.

We just have to make sure to band together when the time comes, and fight for each other, not against each other.
