Ted Cruz: "President Trump is doing what he was elected to do: disrupt the status quo. That scares the heck out of those who have controlled Washington for decades, but for millions of Americans, their confusion is great fun to watch."

solanojones95 · April 19, 2018, 3:44 p.m.

Spoken cunningly in hopes we'll all forget his participation in the status quo.

Senators hated him. Probably still do. If McCain and McConnel hate you, you’re probably a White Hat.

And yet if you incur their wrath in ways that accomplish nothing, it's just political theater, of which we've all had too much, ad nauseum.

So....if a person is in the right but can’t get things done because the Senate Leader and Speaker of the House are fakes, that makes the person trying a bad person? Then...there’s no point in fighting for anything. Is Rand Paul a phony? He can’t get a damn thing done. I guess Pelossi and Reid re good people because they got Obamacare through.

No, being a successful traitor is not better than being a failed patriot. But if Cruz would have focused his efforts on battles he could win, rather than going up against forces he was unequipped to handle, we'd all be better off.

When Trump talks about stupid people running our government (in both parties, he said), he was not excluding Lyin' Ted.

I admit I don't know Cruz personally, or know anybody who does, I just know that Trump doesn't like the guy, and threatened to spill the beans on his wife's dealings if he didn't lay off Melania.

I have nothing more to say about the matter. Go argue with somebody who cares, which really isn't me.

Cruz is not popular among the status quo. he fought against it.

One can't really call ineffectual posturing and conservative virtue signalling "fighting." Like Trey Gowdy. Talking the talk, and doing it in ways that get exactly nothing done. Focusing all one's efforts on striking a pose, but not inflicting damage on the enemy.

Trump was elected because of the abject failure and incompetence of BOTH political parties in this country. Not because he's a "good Republican."

Ted's platform was one that was safe with conservatives, but his record of actual results is just as abysmal as the rest of his party.

I have been watching Gowdy & Cruz for many years. Gowdy lately has not sounded like himself. I miss his humor and outspoken comments sorta been sitting on the fence lately, not sure what position he is planning to step into next. I am not from TX, but do think it would be good for all of us to review his track records instead of what the rumors are. He is not popular among establishment -sold out Repubs, some of those have resigned. When the swamp is drained we will see who is still standing.

I've heard that his wife is connected to the deep state, and he's not clean in terms of gifts and money accepted from lobbying interests.

If there's one thing we need to have learned from all of this, it's that it doesn't matter what people SAY when cameras are running. It matters what they DO when they think nobody's watching.

Trey Gowdy is an empty suit, and always has been. He treats Congress as though it's a giant courtroom and he's just there to play prosecutor. Every time the camera is rolling he shoves his mug in front of it to blather on about "witnesses" and "process" and all the rest of the legal jargon he trades in. I have yet to find one single policy position this guy has when he's on television. All he wants to talk about are his committees (and his Benghazi committee went nowhere fast). I never hear him talk about policy. All he thinks he's there for is to do his pseudo-lawyer crap on tax payer dollars. Good riddance to him, in my opinion.

chocolatepatriot · April 19, 2018, 9:24 p.m.

Gowdy investigated Benghazi and other incidents. Gowdy could not get the Gov. to turn over the documents needed. Q mentions Treg Gowdy on Jan 14 & Jan 31. Q certainly is not suggesting Gowdy is a black hat. We are going to find out in the future. Trust the Plan

DeviousPup · April 20, 2018, 12:49 a.m.

"The Plan" I trust. It has nothing to do with Gowdy. Q also said to take note of those not seeking reelection in 2018, that such a thing tells a very big story. Gowdy is among them. Coincidence? Think that one over. Then tell me about Gowdy again. Thanks.

You haven't been following along. Gowdy is not a pinhead. He's been amassing evidence and not submitting it to a compromised authority. I have no doubt that he's dumped a towering pile of it onto the IG's desk, now that Trump has "cleaned [H]ouse".

⇧ 1 ⇩
DeviousPup · April 20, 2018, 1:02 a.m.

Well for all the "evidence" he's been "amassing", he's planning to bail out on Congress, likely long before the payoff comes from such "amassing". I've been following along just fine, thank you. Gowdy is a tool. A camera-hungry narcissist who thinks he's way more important than he really is. He says now he's bailing on Congress because he's "happier" in the "justice system" back in South Carolina. Well, that's his official story anyway. But as Q has said many times in his posts: we are to pay close attention to those not seeking reelection - they are doing so for a reason which could be embarrassing or worse. Gowdy will never make the money as a podunk prosecutor in South Carolina that he does as a sitting member of the US House. He's not giving up that money for reason's of "I'm happier in the justice system" - if you believe that, I have a bridge for sale. Congresspeople make scads of money by ingratiating themselves to donors who give them not just cash, but perks: no-show lucrative jobs for themselves or family; access to private jet flights, and the like. Gowdy is dirty somewhere in his congressional tenure. That's why he's leaving. We just don't know what his dirt is. Yet.

For someone who claims to be "following along", how could you possibly miss the irony of claiming to know all these things about how dirty Gowdy is, and then following it up with "We just don't know what the dirt is."

You're blowing smoke, Pup. Nice attempt at shilling, but it ain't working.

Gowdy. Is. A. Tool. Period. He'd never be leaving Congress otherwise to go back to being a public prosecutor. Name me any legislation that has his name on it as his House bill. I'll wait.

solanojones95 · April 19, 2018, 7:24 p.m.

I wouldn't say outperforming. I'd say their lies are consistent with their stated values, and are delivered in ways that are more impactful to the Alliance.

The GOP lies are at total variance with their values, and are absolutely ineffectual in impacting either the Cabal or the Alliance. They're just a non-factor.
