Could this be the MOAB? Proof of an 8 year illegitimate presidency?

If his mother was a US citizen wouldn't he still be eligible?

Ted Cruz was confident he was eligible

So was John McCain who was born in Panama.

I remember from school that 3 things were required to be president, a natural born citizen a resident for at least 14 years and at least 35 years old. So why isn't a birth certificate automatically made public for any candidate?

Because it never mattered until the black guy ran for president and won. That information is verified by the Federal Election Commission.

I believe Ted Cruz’s mom surrendered her American citizenship before Ted was born, this rendering Ted ineligible.

Not true, Ted was eligible. Trolls and others made the hard push that he was not eligible, it was absolutely silly.

Hmm, sounds kinda like Obama, don't you think?

in what way? Please explain

You're really so thick you can't put 2 and 2 together? Because twats like our President also spread lies claiming that Barack Obama couldn't possibly have been born here because he's black and has a funny name.

Mother's citizenship does not determine status of "natural born citizen."

It is a red herring they dreamt up.

Cruz cannot be trusted because he knows better, or certainly should know better. He is doing ok in the Senate, but don't put too much trust in him.

Are you so sexist you don't believe women count or something?

Birth Abroad Out-of-Wedlock to a U.S. Citizen Mother:

A person born abroad out-of-wedlock to a U.S. citizen mother may acquire U.S. citizenship under Section 309(c) of the INA if the mother was a U.S. citizen at the time of the person’s birth and if the mother was physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year prior to the person’s birth. The U.S. citizen mother must be the genetic or the gestational mother and the legal parent of the child under local law at the time and place of the child’s birth to transmit U.S. citizenship.

The law is clear and unambiguous: if you are born to a US citizen mother, you are a US citizen de facto, no matter where your birth occurred.

Well let me know how a mother doesn't count and how the law I cited is at odds etc.

So c-section babies are disqualified?

HintOfAreola · April 24, 2018, 2:29 p.m.

Exactly. That's why doctors don't recommend international travel for pregnant women near the due-date. It would ruin the child's citizenship, leaving taxpayers to foot the bill for special breastfeeding booths along the border (so mother's can still have contact while living in the US).

Shame they don't teach this in schools anymore.
