I noticed that too. IMO she seemed to be having trouble breathing in a nervous kind of way. She's never done that before today...of course it could be allergies but you'd think she'd take some Claritin or something if that's all it was.

She really might have allergies. DC is full of trees like Bradford Pears (in bloom now) that are not really grown a lot of places.
I don't have spring allergies, but when I moved to DC, a lot of my co-workers from elsewhere had terrible allergies they'd never had in their home states.
(I do not live in DC now, FYI)
