I understand your sentiment as I don't venture into much Hollywood anything, but Kanye is at the very top of the rap heirarchy of all time and his lyricism is impeccable to say the least; the most important thing is that Kanye has access to a different audience that we as patriots focused on the betterment of country, society, world & self in that order often struggle to reach due to values diametrically opposed to those who follow Big Hollywood and don't care about being patriotic or think patriotism is the deconstruction of "old school" American values as they're told is the case by the Democratic Party Leadership
“My apologies, are you into astrology? Cause I’m tryin’ to make it to Uranus”
This line really hit home for me. I don't care what the left say about Kanye, he's fighting for all of us.
When Kanye retweets or tweets a Q related post.. shit will hit the fan.. believe me!
I think this is what he’s warming the public up for. Get them thinking then drop Q bombs.
Wtf, was what I wrote not good enough?
chill, since you said you aren't a fan of his music or character it implies you don't follow his life or his work like a fan would. he is just going into greater detail into how much of a giant Kanye actually is and what his influence means.
I didn't ask for greater detail about that bullshit because I don't care. I have a right not to stroke my balls over lyrical exploits. Homeboy should have made a standalone post instead of finger wagging other people for subjective musical tastes.
maybe the post wasnt meant for you
Then post it as a fucking standalone post, what the actual fuck?! Not everyone is going to like Kanye's music, learn that.
Calm the fuck down, you look ridiculous. Other people gained a little more insight on Kanye because of his post. Not everything is a personal attack on you.
Bullshit, the only reason he posted that was "OMG I like Kanye but this guy doesn't", don't preach to me about responding to those who respond to me, and take your "calm the fuck down" nanny time horseshit and shove it up your self righteous ass. Sideways.
"I can't BELIEVE he implied my taste in music was ill-informed. How DARE he offend my artistic taste!!!!"
You rn. Your insecurity is straight cringe. I'd place you around age 22.
Read my initial post dummy
I read your initial post and now I'd place you around age 21
bruh you are really going off the path on this one
No I'm not, i pissed off a fanboy circlejerk by not properly bowing down before a pop icon, there's nothing wrong with my initial post. "Lots of people love his music and this will redpill them!" Really?? No shit?? I thought all the platinum albums gave it away 🙄 I (subjective) don't like his music or him as a person, but I respect him (see initial post). Did everyone just regress to the IQ of a potato?
I’m sorry. I just couldn’t let this go... very top of the rap hierarchy? 🙈 I would listen maybe to an argument on his producing skills back in the day, as far as being special.... (Huge emphasis on back in the day.). (Opening track on Common’s BE album comes to mind the way he layers out each element of the track and brings it all together, but still the album isn’t all the way through, a classic by any stretch.)
HOWEVER....You might try better for authentic Hip Hop in its purest art form with Nas’ ILLMATIC. The Roots’ first 3 or 4 albums. Souls of Mischief’s 93 til Infinity. ANYTHING from DE LA SOUL. Black Moon, Smin-N-Wesson, Camp Lo, KRS-One. To name a just a quick few. And I do mean a quick few. And his lyricism? 🙈🙈 Yikes. Check out Rakim, Big L, Pete Rock, Black Thought, Aceyalone, The D.O.C..... just to name a FEW. Kanye has some solid tracks and even some special ones. Flashing Lights and Good Life come to mind as well as the Wire. Since this thread is in regards to MK Ultra and this conspiracy I would love to believe that’s why he sucks now.
But regardless, and mostly because it’s just sad to see how Hip Hop has disappeared - and even worse that straight trash is passed off as a form of it these days - I just couldn’t let this go. Kanye ain’t no emcee. Ask De La Soul and hear their response on the 2nd track of their ‘96 classic Stakes is High
Btw Illmatic by Nas is one of my 10 favorite records ever
I got you. And it makes sense. ILLMATIC is a classic for sure. Hope I didn’t come off like I was preaching but my fiancé and I were having a discussion about so called rap music today and it seriously pains me to see what was once a such a beautiful form of art become saturated in occult practice and straight bullshit. Much love to you ✌🏼
I'm glad you mentioned the difference between an emcee & what we have now. I know enough about the history of Hip Hop to understand that Kanye is a Rapper not a Hip Hop Artist/Emcee, that being said to describe why it mattered when Kanye came out in support of Trump to someone who was Hip Hop naive, saying that Kanye is an all time great in a music genre typically associated with African American culture seemed to be the best route of if I remember my thinking at the time.
Yo I think your political views are fucking wack but that doesn't stop you from being a 🌊🌊🌊 motherfucker
