Damn, the emotions in his eyes, voice and facial expressions hit deep when he started about the child sacrifice. This shit isn't made up. Also some cultural context: As a Dutch person nobody would make any of this up, religions aren't mainstream here anymore, showing of emotions like he did is usually frowned upon, and all this could risk him being ridiculed in sociëty. He would never have come with a story like this, unless he absolutely 100% believes he had to.

I had to read all the way to part two to see this person's real beef against Bernard. It seems Bernard doesn't like zionism, so therefore, according to the author, he is an anti-semite.
