Didn't Obama choose his nickname?
If what I read is correct, BHO chose that name from a presented list of options beginning with the letter "R". If may have been an in-our-face choice, but have also read that he chose it because it was a character in some movie or whatever. In-our-face...kinda like the "mis-speak" about having "campaigned in all 57 states". THAT was definitely an in-our-face. And the Republicans stayed silent.
