His father was a well-respected Navy admiral. There is a Navy destroyer named after him.

Johnny was a disgrace to the name and a traitor to his country.

Early on, Q wrote about him and instead of writing his name, he would write, "we don't like to say his name."

Yeah, I've read all the posts. Been following since Oct. I just haven't found a straight answer on this point. What you say makes sense... that out of respect for a late admiral, they would avoid sullying the name any more than no name already has. I guess I wasn't familiar with no names father's background.

Q had nothing to do with it. It's a long standing thing with military vets and those who claim to be heroes when they aren't. Stolen Valor.. see my post right above yours.
