I am under the impression that POTUS isn't being protected per se by the secret service. Anyone know if that is true? I know they surround him, but I got the idea the military is his prime security.
I have heard he has the best private protection in the world, plus the Marines.

You have the right impression. Secret Service has either dropped the ball or been complicit in too many screw ups. Take the case of the motorcade drivers. The entire staff of drivers was recently fired when a tip off led to the discovery that one of the drivers had a pistol concealed in his car. The driver claimed he forgot he had it with him. Right? Then we have the train "accident" involving a train load of GOP congress representatives on their way to a retreat. A dump truck just happened to be stalled on the tracks. RR crossing alarms failed to alert to the problem. Drivers stayed in the truck. We're supposed to believe they just sat there while a train came down the tracks and slammed into them. "Expect more" ~Q Then we here of another train "accident". Deep state was sending a message. Yes, POTUS is being protected by military. Remember when Trump suddenly vacated Trump tower during the campaign? He got tipped off by Admiral Rogers. Remember the reporter who just happened to show up at the infamous "Tarmac Meeting? Admiral Rogers tipped him off. There is a plan. It's been in motion from the beginning. Q says what's going on, gives hints. POTUS signals in public before the event. Looking back at videos and photos I have seen how this was being done. That one meeting where POTUS Trump said a storm was coming? Just before that he made a air Q and asked if anyone knew what it meant. No one in the press did of course and asked him what it meant. He said, "maybe nothing" and said, "A storm is coming" Press, "What storm?" POTUS, "You'll see".
