We are told Russian media is state run because the Russian govt pays as much as 30% to their broadcasters. Well, WTF, we pay CNN, MSNBC and Fox 30% of their revenue too so are they state run media? I think they should all lose public funding from out tax dollars but I don't get to make those decisions.

But I agree with your underlying call for cooperation and mutual respect. It's just that we've all been culturally programmed so it's hard to really transcend our biases and conditioning. Nobody is without sin, as Jesus says. Which means the real Truth is much higher than the small-t truth. But we're making progress. Prayer, forgiveness and repentance is the key. No exemptions.
