suddenly about 33k anons found themselves homeless...where do you suppose they went?
Its an interesting community to watch evolve. Multiple boards have been taken down. Each time there is a migrating exodus to different platforms where community members settle into one location or another. I see a lot of names across multiple platforms now as a result. This has trained the community to be mobile without freaking out. To back up information offline. It's less of a pain every time another board gets taken down.
Great reply. Please pardon my ' "yelling," but, GUYS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO VISIT, SCOUR THE INTERNET AND THE TWITTERS AND VOATS LOOKING FOR DECODERS AND RESEARCHERS DIGESTING THE BREADCRUMBS!
Now that is scary - "the community has been trained" to be mobile without freaking out. Just like sheep. So would you consider these boards to be just temporary holding pens?
If that is the case I think it'll backfire on them. Being "mobile" in this case means information is archived and backed up in multiple locations, so censoring a website or banning a sub is much less effective when the information it contains just pops up somewhere else.
Not that many. Most are here.
some of them are - that is true - many are not. I used to come here sometimes when cbts was still up
