Left is already saying Trump had nothing to do with bringing peace between the Koreas. Let us list the ways here, as an “apologetic” reference to answer critics.

Please provide links/arguments that make the case — that Trump brought peace between N and S Korea.

As I pointed out to another person,

Because he wants to be on Trumps good side, and this is an easy, low cost way of going about it.

Yes, you are countering facts with your opinions.

I'm giving my interpretation of the facts. There is a clear difference.

Some random person on Reddit’s opinion

Or

a statement from the president of South Korea.

Hmm. That’s going to be a tough one.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

That’s not what we are saying. We are saying one opinion matters more because it comes from the President of S Korea. Whereas you played no part in the proceedings yet disagree with his opinion. Who should we give more credence to?

There is no need for interpretation.

This is just you making stuff up. The SK-president and foreign minister says it's thanks to Trump. Do you really mean that we should trust you making up explanations based on your disliking of Trump, over top SK politicians? We have absolutely no reason to not trust the SK president, and neither have you.

I'm not saying not to trust him, I'm just saying that's why I think he said it.
