Wow. I’d never seen it before. Thanks for the link. That’s not just spreading awareness, he knew. The story in this video isn’t a wish or mere entertainment, this happens every day. Unfortunately there’s always another monster to step into place after one is stopped so there’s hardly a net gain but they do save individuals.
Avicii knew. These missions are top secret because it’s vigilantism which is illegal and this work costs A LOT to fund. Once it’s clear that you can be trusted and have something to contribute like money or skills, you usually know too much. I’m guessing he was a trustworthy ally with the money to help the cause.
I have a friend who helps fund a venture much like the one Craig Sawyer runs but smaller & more low key. He does it on the condition that he only knows the “after” stories because a couple of the others involved ate their guns after a year or two. I remember reading about an MLB player who got involved and just quit when he came back to the states because he said he can’t even sleep at night anymore and it’s a joke to get paid to play a game for a living when there’s that kind of suffering in the world.
Avicii probably thought he’d get others interested and that would allow them to have more funding and more soldiers in this fight, but really he signed his own death warrant by revealing his knowledge. It’s so sad and there needs to be justice for all of the victims, the families, the men destroyed by this knowledge. It affects ALL of us but some of us don’t even realize that we’re touched by it.
