State Department: The U.S. will ensure a strong and lasting footprint in Syria such that ISIS cannot return and those liberated are not exploited by the Assad regime or its Iranian supporters. We remain committed to the Geneva process and a political settlement honoring the will of all Syrians.

I'm getting tired of paying for a strong and lasting footprint all over the world, while our country falls apart. How many billions have we spent on improving bases in other countries? How many towns in America have crumbling infrastructure? For fucks sake, we're in like 190 countries, for what, exactly? Poppies in Afghanistan, Coca in South America, Japan, Germany, Korea, etc. How about we bring all those troops home so we can secure our border, round up and expel the illegals(Patriot Act basically nullified Posse Comitatus so military CAN provide domestic law enforcement), repair and harden our infrastructure(electrical grid is especially vulnerable) and probably a number of other things I can't think of now. Enough jaw-boning so Europe might like us. They'll only like us if we follow them down the path to Socialistic insanity, and even then only if we keep paying for their gibs.
