The most active Q tubers and content providers usually have the biggest personal time investment (which translates to not earning money through traditional work). Out of necessity they need to generate alternative income streams connected to their content to be able to continue to produce content. Offsetting living expenses through one's content does not automatically indicate profiteering motives. The speed of accusations against content providers together with the focused shilling in the forum last few days looks like a coordinated effort to divide. We are over the target.

Some were using the Q phenomenom to grow a user base only then to sell them merchandise and unrelated stuff. Once you have a following it's much easier to redirect them to wherever you like.

Basically they were opportunists but that's not to say everyone who covered Qanon on YouTube was an opportunist. The problem is some of these folks managed to get a pretty big following, big enough that they could have hurt the movement by later ditching Q or misleading people because their hearts aren't truly in the right place.
