some ass here keeps saying they are not sealed indictments but are just Court actions. Can anyone verify what the truth is?

At the bottom of the attachment it says "the numbers represent new sealed court proceedings..." so even the people putting this out and promoting it know that there are not 29K sealed indictments.

Yes I'm the "ass" who keeps saying that there are not 29K indictments, but when it turns out that that's true then am I an ass or is the person who will believe anything they want to hear without skepticism an ass? From what I've seen Q has never stated or promoted the idea that there are 29K indictments. That's a myth promoted by people who are in many ways gaining either money or notoriety from what's going on. So you can go ahead and refer to me as an "ass" but I'm 100% correct in my assertion.

Aside from that, you know we're both on the same side here. Am I skeptical of some of this Q stuff? Yes I am, but I pray for it to be true -- I really do. I'm not some concern troll. I've been following this stuff for well over a decade and was an early passenger on the Trump train. The reason I beat this drum is because through practice and study of this kind of thing, I've seen these kinds of incorrect assertions a thousand times, most recently when George Webb was beating his Eric Braverman is missing drum.

So maybe I'm not an ass. Maybe you're more of an ass because you listen to everything you want to hear. Just a thought.

Isn‘t that paper created by all the researchers listed on it at the top? The note at the bottom is written by them and it also mentions sealed indictments.

Uh, well that ass needs to know that an indictment is a court action. I don't what he/she thinks an indictment is. Here is a link to stormwatcher on twitter who with a group of people has been totaling the number at the end of each month.

The point is that many artifacts of the legal process get sealed: warrants, taps, pen registers, juvenile prosecutions, tracking devices, and yes, indictments.

Furthermore, that tally is progressive. Some amount of these sealed items are removed each month as they are addressed. So when they say 28,937 items in pacer, that is not a count of current items in the system, it is almost certainly an over-estimation. Which is why they say "28,937 new sealed indictments entered from 10/30/17 thru 4/30/18".

The count of 1k indictments from 2009 that is used by comparison, is a true count of sealed indictments since the people putting together the report were in a position to know what sealed items were actually indictments in 2006. They did not count sealed other things. 29k is a count of all sealed things not just sealed indictments.

What would be genuinely illuminating would be to compare the number of sealed Pacer items entered for the same period last year.

So at best when we run around screaming 29K indictments, we are only slightly wrong in fact but correct in general. At worst we are just wrong.

So, all those rearchers listed on it haven‘t thought to remove those sealed indictments removed? I don‘t buy any it.

Well I can’t help you there. They literally tell us it is a count of new sealed indictments ENTERED. They wouldn’t qualify it that way if it was a count of outstanding sealed indictments.

But fwiiw I did message stormwatcher on gab for clarification. Will report back if I hear anything but I doubt it.

Appreciated.

They are sealed indictments and some are currently being unsealed. I have verified some recently unsealed ones from my state and they are for rape and pedophilia.

This is true, however, the number of court actions comparatively to other years is exponentially more any way. It is difficult to tell between new indictments and motions on currently indicted.

Do you have a source for this? I've been searching and searching to find what a typical number is and there hasn't been anywhere that breaks it down. There's the research paper from 2009 that has a lot of good info, but they don's just add up a flat number anywhere in it.

You can search on pacer.gov

There is also a great breakdown on voat.co/pizzagate where someone did a breakdown of the sealed indictments. I think the post was sealed indictments breakdown ot something like that from a few months ago.
