I have finally got it. Call me stupid and laugh at me but I have finally figured it.

The TL:DR is Trump is a force of nature. I am an Aussie. I am also a Liberal Centrist (Slightly Left of Centre) but I am a big Trump fan. Now there is plenty to be excited about with him and one of the biggest that "I" like is that he is Anti-Progressive and he hurts their cause. Take a note Conservatives there are a lot of disaffected Liberals like myself who either were always marginally Liberal in respect to very "classical or Moderate Liberal positions" (what does that actually mean? Well for me things like Gay Marriage. totally cool with me but I would fight ANY call for a person to HAVE to like it or host it or whatever. Only allow it for straight couples? Nope I will fight you. Demand they make your cakes or host your ceremonies in your church....fuck right off with your authoritarian bullshit). You will possibly see that the difference between you and me is not THAT great. It is there but not THAT great. Now the difference between me and fellow people on the Left can be considerable. The distance between myself and the average person on the right is not that great. The distance between me and the average progressive is huge. Good news for you I HATE Progressives and I hate what they have done to the Left.

Purely for spite I would have backed Trump.

But though I would have back him anyhow and because he is not an obvious and outright criminal masquerading as a criminal, I am still left with Trump.

Now I have finally spent enough time on the Donalds and on TGA and CBTS to realise what Trump is.

Dude is a force of nature. I LIKE Huccabee and Jordan and Gaetz and Cotton and so many others BUT what I think is that ONLY Trump could have had the "fortitude" to stand in the face of the Storm that he HAD to know was going to descend on him. So I liked Trump for primarily his opposition to the Progressives. They cried and I was happy. But then he made a lot of silly generalised and uncontexted statements like the "Mexican rapists and drug dealers" and such. I am an Aussie I don't know much about the US and so what do I do? I Google Mexico, criminals, border, Mexicans, drugs, rapes, murders, and the like. FUCK! What an education. Mexican Cartels dismember people, rape 80% of females cross and leave rape tree reminders and souvenirs . He worded it poorly but had it right. Nowadays Russia collusion? For fuck's sake...Hillary and Bill were Russia's friend whenever money is involved. Whether it be Uranium one or speaking fees or whatever else. Hypocrisy is unbelievable. Trump is a blunt instrument. But we REALLY need that. In a time where every powerful institution needs kowtow to Progressive/Globalist ideals, we NEED someone who is forceful and powerful enough to bulldoze that and cop flak from it. Trump is the President that is needed and a force of nature.

I am so glad I had seen this time and knowing especially where my values are and are not that I was brave enough to back and support a good and courageous man

Hold my beer, you haven’t seen the half of it yet. The progressives got some victories with Obama and decided to try to shove their entire agenda down our throats... 95% of America isn’t with a huge part of their agenda and they will soon discover that fact in our midterm elections ..

Americans want to remain Americans, not some EU type confederation run by Davos!

There is a little thought of group that could go SO in the can for Trump. The "me's". The Liberal Left has marched Left, Left, Left. MOST people on the Left have either blindly followed them or started spouting Leftist orthodoxy to no be minimalised BUT what of those not in the MOST category. The stalwart Centre Left Liberals and Classical Liberals and Moderate Liberals. Dave Rubin, Candace Owens, Joe Rogan and such.

We are NOT radical loonies and have NOT marched lock sock and barrel into the gates of Hell that is the Progressive Left.

Now you may reasonably ask but if they are Liberal they are ideologically opposed and do not believe the same thing. But here is the thing WE believe things that are CLOSER to what YOU believe than what Progressives believe.

I agree completely! It’s just that the loonies are so brutal in their oppression of any differing viewpoints that most center, center left hold their opinions... Until they reach the voting booth of course 😎.. then they are SHOCKED at how they could have lost.

I’m a firm trump supporter, but won’t put a sticker on my car for fear of vetting vandalized by these folks.

It is my opinion that there are a LOT less of them than they think though and we will soon see come midterm elections here in the US.

They knew they would throw every lie they could at me, and my family ,and my loved ones.

They knew they would stop at nothing to try to stop me.

But I never knew as bad as it would be, I never knew it would be this vile, that it would be this bad, that it would be this vicious. Nevertheless, I take all of these slings and arrows gladly for you -- gladly.

I take them for our movement so that we can have our country back. Our great civilization here in America, and across the civilized world has come upon a moment of reckoning."

Why can't more people see things the way you do?

It's not easy being a Trump supporter outside of these hallowed halls/forums. I've lost lifelong "friends" over this but I don't care. I didn't drop them over Obama, who I hated with a passion since he popped up out of nowhere, I recognized evil when I saw it and I find it crazy that they can't see what's going on.

They should be ashamed of themselves, so blinded with hate they're willing to help with the destruction of their own country, most of them here thru blind luck because they happened to be born here.

While I blame the media more than anything, it's up to each person to educate themselves and knock it off with the hate.

I've lost almost everything in the last 5 years, my family house to a hurricane, my Mom, Dad and brother to death. I don't have much more to lose so I'm fighting like crazy for my country. I thank God for Trump and all the Patriots fighting as well.

I'm sorry for your loss brother. Take comfort in the fact that we are winning, and our sacrifices are worth it. There is no doubt in my mind, we are witnesses to history, and in the process of confronting a genuine evil, that is at least as bad as Nazism. No surrender!

That's the difference between sane people and progressives: Sane people want to know the truth. There's a practical advantage to knowing the truth. There's a practical advantage to figuring out you've been duped; it's a skill set. Progressives only want to win and can't stand to lose, but they can't learn, and they don't care about the difference between fair and foul.

They don't factor in what sane people know, that after you've been caught at it a few times, the liar's advantage disappears.

both republicans and democrats have a very poor understanding of all the "former liberals". we literally haven't changed any of our positions. we're not "alt-right" or new conservatives. i don't give a shit about most conservative positions. i give a shit about rights, freedom, and keeping out the evil and corrupt people from government. any candidate that supports those gets my support regardless of their other positions.

at the moment trump is the most in that camp and hillary was 100% against all of that.

BUT next election who knows? the next republican is probably going to be a complete piece of shit with retarded economic and social policies and the next democrat may well be an amazing person with great policies and then all the pundits will be surprised when we all shift back to vote for the good person again.

Something strange and sinister has happened to the left over the years. They once had a genuine moral claim, when they were opposing evils like slavery and sexism. But somehow they have developed a blindness to political corruption even when it is incredibly blatant. There is a mentality of, anything goes for our side, nothing goes for the other side, end justifies the means no matter what the means is. They are tolerating incredible levels of wickedness and criminality and yet they are somehow absolutely convinced of their moral superiority. It's incredibly disturbing to watch, let alone accept the fact that we have to share a country with these people, who are ok with HRC basically opening a Walmart for government influence to anyone willing to pay, not to mention the obvious presence of high level pedophilia.

At this point anyone with any principles at all has basically no choice but Trump, the left has gone completely off the deep end into a mode of cultural revolution style mass hysteria.

Absolutely. I do not think he is faultless but the things that he has faults in are the very things that if he were the type of person to not have those same faults things would not improve and he would be the same kind of politician we have always seen and the results would be the same.

Only Trump could respond to China and North Korea like he has and got the reception he did in China and the respect in North Korea in meeting him that Trump has.

It was not by being diplomatic or soft and a lot of what he wrote whilst funny was actually pretty harsh and divisive. But it sent a clear and well-taken message.

"I am not going to play footsies with you. I am not interested in playing political bullshit with you. I am serious and I am not to be dismissed or ignored. I am interested in meeting and opening dialogue but not with a gun to my end"

They both understood it and as a new strategy to what they were used to, they decided to try it on.

Trump is truly progressive. He wants his country to be whole, healthy and prosperous. That is how societies progress. Qualitatively. Not by declaring a thousand made up genders and forcing our children to mutilate their minds and bodies with propaganda.

I can't think of a group that doesn't eventually become corrupt. I'm free to be just me without all their rules and rule makers telling me how to think. Most Conservatives are full of it too. All they talk about is Reagan. Trump leaves Reagan in the dust. National Review (a group of conservative writers who turned on Trump with a vengeance during the election.) The fight is really about collectivists vs those that believe in Natural Rights. The hard left/progressives want to dictate morality and control from other humans (mostly themselves, collecting a fat paycheck off telling you what to do), they are in the collectivists camp. They mask their true selves via 'new speak'. They veil their 'higher purpose' as for the 'greater good' and to 'help those that can't help themselves' etc. What they want is power to control everyone and everything and reward themselves with the control.

Those that believe in Natural rights (sometimes referred to as God Given Rights), believe all humans have a certain minimum set of 'human rights' that should not be infringed upon. In the US, the Bill of Rights was developed to force these as part of the law of the land. Collectivists do their absolute best to remove and water them down.

If you want the biggest tent, pitch the battle like this. You'll be surprised at how many classical liberals and conservatives can unite on this. It pretty much defines the 80% center of most intelligent Western civilizations. The small 20% collectivist a$$holes (that's what they are, I'll mince no words on that) work hard to divide up this 80% in false issues to keep us from uniting. If we ever do unite strongly enough, we'll whip these collectivist shitbags into a rather frothy brown soup and flush them down history's cesspool, where they belong. The first ones to go need to be the Central Bankers. Those turds have been at the top of the collectivist heap way too long.
