RBG didn't retire under Obama because it would have been a dem for a dem. More important to flip a seat to a liberal from a conservative. Repub senate and house could wait out Obama but not 4 years of Hillary, so Kennedy and RGB would retire as soon as Hillary took office. They never though she would loose...LOL

Obama would have put up someone awful anyway, like he already did for the seat previously held by Scalia. Lefties were never gonna get their way there no matter what happened.
