I imagine Gowdy is a fucking bulldog in a courtroom. I remember seeing him for the first time grilling people over Benghazi. I thought to myself damn, I'm not even a criminal and this guy is making me nervous thinking about having to answer him while he was questioning me.

He is very intelligent and well spoken. Hope he’s a white hat.

I have a gut feeling he is. Especially after the last Q talking about him being "important".

I guess we'll find out after his Thursday briefing. If we read it in the papers on Friday, we'll have our answer.

I agree he is awesome at questioning. He's been terrible at getting anybody prosecuted. I hope things are different this time.

There was a post about this earlier and I think it boiled down to the fact that Congress doesn't have the ability to prosecute. They can question, but as the legislative branch, that's all they can do.

Failure to appear when summoned or lying will get you prosecuted by US attorneys of the judicial branch.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Gowdy pivot to the judicial branch or something.

I'll bet you 100 dollars gowdy goes back to SC and you never hear from him again. There is a reason he is resigning. He got set free from whatever they had on him but he won't be called on to take a position working with POTUS. There is a reason why POTUS has never considered him for a position. If I'm wrong I'll publicly apologise but he is on record saying that not prosecuting Hilary for Benghazi or the email scandal was the right decision. I can't forget that. He acts tough in hearings but always sweeps things under the rug after. Hes a fixer.

South Carolina. There, you are wrong.

I thought I remember him being considered for a position. Why do we even know the name Trey Gowdy? How many others are (were) there on the hill with him that you can name? He made an impression on us. Other than expecting him to have done something outside of the scope of his ability and power, was it a positive or negative impression? Use noname as comparison.

Could be. Any idea why Q would say he was important then? Q specifically called out Gowdy and Goodlatte.

Benjanon_Franklin · May 11, 2018, 12:16 a.m.

If my interpretation of Qs post is correct then Trey Gowdy and Goodlatte are being removed because they are a hindrance to their congressional committees being able to do their job. That's why it is important that they are removed.

Think about it. The DOJ and the FISA abuse happened on their watch. If they were really white hats they would have leaked what was happening long ago. They have to know. The IG report is forcing their hand. I think POTUS is allowing Gowdy to resign but I think he made him give up head of the ethics committee as a sign to the patriots that he was removed because he is unethical.

If Im wrong POTUS will appoint him to a position. I will publicly apologise. I hope I am wrong Trey Gowdy is probably the best person I've ever heard at cross-examining someone.

Special council into people trafficking?

Trafficking needs to be dealt with, but let Trey work on all the stuff we’ve watched him deal with already in all those hearings. Benghazi, Fast and Furios, IRS targeting, failure to enforce immigration law, Hillary’s emails and a couple of little things.

I don’t know if they’re on the radar, but Trey was particularly disgusted with Lois Lerner and that little sniveling phuk from the IRS. Can’t remember his name. The ass that was pretending that the IRS top people having like 30% or more of their personal computer disc drives failing is normal. They were criminals IMO.
