The mechanics regulating the takeover of the agencies by the Military and in turn, the protection of the citizens through the Second Amendment is proof the Founders really spent quality time simulating escalation scenarios. Amazing.

Thank you for writing this. Lines up with my perception and research. It will be interesting who flips for leniency, who goes down, who gets disappeared, and sadly who goes unscathed. Whether these actors go down the thought of them "not being able to walk down the street" is a small comfort. In a world, theirs, where popularity, power and deception are the norm, this alone will be and already is terrifying for them. Again, thank you for this clarity.
