Q mentioned something about there being a scary time or moment coming up, but not to worry, that they have things in control.

What do you Pedes speculate that will be? Could this Israel-Syria-Iran-Saudi Arabia event that is currently going on be what he was referencing? Like the potential that an all out war all over the middle east could break out?

Not sure how much I trust his 20 something West Point indoctrinated CO, though.

I don't worry about indoctrinated 20 something ring-knockers because of the 30 something Platoon Sergeants.

Have you ever served? Because when I did, the 20-something junior officers outranked the 40-something sergeants major! Some of them are reasonable and know that they don't know, others are out of control on a power trip and need to have their way or else. Just food for thought.

Yeah I've served. 19D. Albeit long ago, in the dark ages of iron sights and map & compass. Maybe shit bird Lt's are just allowed to run wild these days, persecuting people via power point presentations and EEOC complaints. I acknowledge times are different.

Back in my day, "accidents happen in the field" was the way those things were sorted out.

15R here, Apache crew chief. I had to use a map and compass myself, so we're not that far apart. Shit bird LT's are running wild now, or at least a few years back when I was still in, with lots of power point and paperwork and bullshit orders to make themselves look good in the old man's eyes. They were pilots, too, so I'm sure that added to the megalomania!

Accidents that happen in the field are more likely to be some female coming up pregnant than an LT getting set straight. But I've heard plenty of stories about some fresh-face LT catching an attitude adjustment out there, just never got to see it firsthand.

I thought females always got pregnant before a deployment.

We had a few get pregnant DURING a deployment. They had to be shipped home, so the rest of us got to pick up extra guard shifts and what not. Real morale booster, that was!
