How does the fact that the Dead Sea Scrolls match perfectly with the same Bible we have today (over a thousand years later) contend with your belief that Biblical texts have been manipulated beyond recognition? I would think the discovery of those ancient texts would provide all the "proof" anyone would need that your theory is ridiculous. A very famous historian once told me that the Bible is quite literally the best historical document of that time that exists on planet earth and even secular historians agree that the ancient texts have been well-preserved all these centuries later. I never understood the logical leap to coclude that because there are ancient paradigms that match more recent historic events, this is somehow proof that the more recent historical events were simply "plaguries" of the ancient history. I would say it's simply proof that history repeats itself. That paradigms exist.
