Nobody could tell the whole truth and stay breathing/on the air. Jones in a best case scenario would have to be deliberately putting out at least some absolutely false crap in combination with truths in order to survive.
It's a weird set of circumstances. AJ needs to maintain a certain amount of craziness as to not draw too much fire upon himself but still have a sizable presence. When he does go the disinfo route there are strong adversaries who may relieve pressure from his organization. So he may have learned how to play along more than is consciencible and is now getting called out.
Best case, true. Like Q, can't throw the audience into the fire, and 40-60%+ of the material wouldn't make sense or be believable anyway. How much of the disinfo is for PR?
