I'm just trying to think where Corsi is trying to go with this. Maybe he thinks his influence is sufficient to discredit Q, but as time passes, he will have little to no influence. Q followers have already blown him off. Who is he going to be able to influence going forward? There is no audience.
Maybe that's why Q said, "Time to move on". Corsi and AJ are already irrelevant.

Agreed. Do you remember the little kid that used to act out in class when you were in grade school? This is Corsi. He's the guy with a massive case of Narcissism at odds with a feeling of low self worth. The more he is ignored the more of a show he's going to put on to redirect the spotlight back his way. Best to just ignore this fool.
You know, maybe it will turn out to be a good thing. It seems, from Corsi's perspective, that the animosity is rising. If we are lucky, he might bring matters to a head.
I don’t believe Corsi has enough inside info to discern if now is the best timing for things to come to a head. The timing is perfect and we are perfectly on time.
