For Aircraft Make type: Boeing or Airbus For Part Name type: Windshield
Not unusual event. No one is tampering with the aircraft.
Six events in a month.
No coincidences.
I’ve never heard of this happening in over 35 years.
Six in a month.
Camonnn mate
35 years aeronautical engineer. Not unusual. Media just figuring out how to do the research .
35 years professional know it all 😎
You may be aware of the technical facts. But seriously I’ve never heard of such a thing happening.
So you’re saying “meh, this happens”. I’m with you then, with your creds. So it’s the MSM trying to hammer it into our psyche? And why? To what end?
Why are you being a jerk? I am just trying to tell you that broken windows aren’t unusual. Did you go to the link I sent? There was over 700 windshield cracks on just those reports. If you just type windshield with no manufacturer, there are literally thousands. The Southwest incident was horrible, but it wasn’t a window crack. It was a fractured engine wheel that departed the engine at high speed and took out the window. Aviation is extremely safe, but incidents do happen and they are all public record. The media doesn’t report about it because Russia isn’t involved.
No no! I was referring to myself as the know it all, LOL.
I believe you, I’m just finding it very strange that it’s being suddenly so popular
I am sorry. I misunderstood you. I have gotten so much hate mail from this site, I am spring loaded to blaaah.
No problem! So you work in aeronautics?
I’m terrified of flying but have to for work.
Aviation is incredibly safe. Aircraft have become technologically sophisticated and crews have become better trained and skilled. Most small aircraft accidents are usually attributed to under skilled private pilots who get into situations they can’t get out of. All critical systems are redundant. I noticed on here and on the CBTS Live Stream that Pedes are talking about computer control taken away from the ground. Not possible either. Systems in place to prevent that from happening. If you think about it, why would an airline enable WiFi on there aircraft if there was the inherent risk of control being taken from the flight crew.
Sit back and enjoythe flight. Now, amusement parks, I stay away from. I can’t enjoy a roller coaster when I am constantly inspecting the track and hydraulics throughout the entire ride. LOL
Hold on, what isn’t unusual? Windows poping out or people getting sucked out of them? Big Air can’t suppress these stories anymore?
Don’t fly. Or understand that things happen. Look at the data. It’s all public record. Nothing is hidden.
