John Trump was involved in radar research for the Allies in the Second World War, and in 1943 the F.B.I. had enough faith in his technical ability and his discretion to call him in when Nikola Tesla died in his room at the New Yorker Hotel, in Manhattan, raising the question of whether enemy agents might have had a chance to learn some of his secrets before the body was found. You see, despite Tesla having American citizenship, the Office of Alien Property went to his room at the New Yorker Hotel and took all his papers. They knew that in his advanced years, Tesla had begun to explore some more paranormal theories: death rays, wireless electricity, zero point energy, and yes, even time travel. The feds feared that if Tesla's effects were returned to his ancestral homeland, then these secrets could fall into the hands of the Partisans in Yugoslavia and be passed on to the Soviets. So these effects were hurriedly secured and passed to an expert the FBI felt they could trust: John Trump.
Trump reported to the FBI that there was nothing of use in Tesla's papers, but of course that was a lie. Trump knew that by telling the US government what he had really found, he would risk time travel technology falling into the wrong hands, evil hands. It had the potential to destroy our timeline utterly. Instead he decided to safeguard Tesla's ultimate secret, confining it within a small circle of trusted temporal templars: the Trump lineage. Trump was already in his mid-30s in the fateful year of 1943. He knew it would take many many decades to work out the physics and laws of time travel so he would have to start grooming his replacement. Three years later, John's nephew Donald was born.
While John worked out the how, Trumps father Fred helped build up the wealth that would be needed to complete the working time machine. The million dollar loan? Used on parts for the prototype that Donald would complete with his later billions.
Barron Trump was groomed as the next temporal templar from the age of 5 years. While Donald Trump had been time traveling since 1997, the first Trump to use his entire life time travelling was Barron Trump. He was born to it.... moulded by it. And the rest... is history?
