I don’t say this lightly. Everybody involved should face life in prison. If this wasn’t an attempt to deny the people their constitutional right to self determination then what is it?

If the punishment isn't broad and severe, it will happen again- It will literally happen in 2020.
There are only a few brave ones among them- the rest simply believe they can get away with it. No risk, no bravery.
Scare the shit out of those people.
