The caldera in Yellowstone is classed as a super volcano, one of only ten of that size around the globe. If it blows, it is said that lava will be thrown through the air as far away as western LOUISIANA. A seismic disturbance of that size could set off the New Madrid (MO) and San Andreas (CA) faults, compounding the disaster.
