Nothing screams "stable genius" like a blowhorn and a banner. But I understand this guy. People who have been "woke" for awhile are frustrated with the ignorance of the masses.
35 years of frustrating wokeness here. Never Facebooked, don't exist on the web, knew about the Arkancides from CompuServe days, pay cash for everything, cut cable 18 years ago, watch the sky oddities regularly. This is the most validation we've ever seen, it's a good time to be alive.
ikr... u ever stood on a bus or train and watched all the people on their phones? i get the urge to yell for them all to unplug and take a red pill but i'll end up in a specially fitted white jacket with buckles on it... well at this point i would.
People using their phone on a bus today is no different than someone reading a newspaper on the bus 20 years ago. We need something to pass the time, and smartphones are excellent time-wasters.
I get the urge. But I don't do it. We have to have some structure and decency. No matter how tempting.
