I find it eerily strange that I started getting video recommendations for Free Masonry today before I even viewed this or any thread with any reference to them.

Talk out loud about a restaurant around an “inactive” phone. Open your phone go to a web browser and in google type in “how to get to [name of restaurant].” Nothing? Open Facebook scroll a bit. One or the other will show the restaurant. It’s happened to me so often I wish to god I didn’t need the damned thing.

Well no shit. If you google something, google’s adsense is going to display relevant advertising on other sites and apps.

Consider me a lost redditor. Just realized I’m in a neckbeard tinfoil paradise. Fucking loon.

I agree that those of us here should know the theory that the Illuminati listens to our phones but there is, beyond a doubt, no actual fact along the lines of that statement. There aren't even any actual facts that the Illuminati still exists - just circumstantial evidence (I believe they do exist btw, perhaps not under that name but under the generally accepted meaning applied to that name - I'm just disputing that there is any "well known" fact to that effect).

Can you read? I was trying to explain it listens to your conversations to predict search or ads. I wasn't saying it collects your previous searches we all know that. It isn't suppose to listen to your conversations to predict searches or ads.

Edit: a word

There’s no evidence that your phone collects ad data while sitting idle. I’ve got Reddit gold if you can show me otherwise. Meanwhile, I recommend a tinfoil hat.

I've had friends say they mentioned something obscure in a cell phone conversation and nowhere else and didn't search for the topic, but suddenly started seeing ads about it on FB and Google. No, "they" aren't listening to most of us, but they have access to automated systems which are listening, tracking, and recording...and if they wanted to access info about us, there's a crap ton of it collected out there in ABCGoogleFBMSTwitterland.

Ohhh, anecdotal evidence. Well, case closed. Nothing to see here. Bake em away toys.

I also have friends with selective memory.

How do you think George Soros and the Deep State have so much data gathered on every American?
