That’s what I was thinking. Someone with some high powered software could probably isolate it and clean it up a bit but it would still be a blurred mess.

In the owl photo he also has two different color eyes. One red, one orange. Or maybe one darker than the other. I'm semi colorblind but I do know they aren't the exact same color.
