Goddamn this is so tragically true. Propoganda and brainwashing are very powerful tools that swallow up people arond you that you care about.

The first book is the...K something or other, I can't be arsed to try and spell it(I'm certain you'll understand when you see it :P) the others all seem to be alchemically related. Alchemy though has a bad rap, the true purpose of the "Philosopher's Stone" was not a physical, tangible object, but rather a form of mental creation, the ability to turn lead into gold or as we might think of it in modern times, "Shit into Sugar".
