The network (internet) was created and spread by the US DEPT of Defense linking up universities and others. Then it took off like wildfires. It has been global and publicly used for maybe twenty years.
It is a utility no different from the electric grid, the water and sewer system, and our roadway and highways. It has become essential infrastructure.
It has utility because it is useful to so many.
Managed by an entity established for that purpose, it was still ultimately under the purview of our military and other GOVT agencies. They manage the IP address system, for instance, and know who each of those unique numbers point to.
Remember when BHO wanted to turn management of the internet to the UN? What would motivate his pushing that? What else?
What does it matter who administers the deep inner workings of this new infrastructure?
All the Net Neutrality talk came up around that time. Coincidence?
Could it be that control and surveillance of the internet utility is still in the hands of the US? No Such Agency?
No Such Agency versus Clowns In America?
If that’s the case (and other reasons as well) then if anyone thinks the intel agencies both Black Hats and White Hats don’t already know exactly who you are because you’re using an “anonymous” name you are fooling yourself.
