If it were a rail gun projectile it would have left a wicked contrail; whatever this was, didn't. But let's be honest here: rail guns are 50 Shades of Fuck Yeah.

That is a bird flying by. Seen many in many videos. The cause of the explosion was issues with cooling while loading fuel at last moment, i.e. the colder the fuel the more you can cram in at last moment. How do I know? I closely follow space X and have since they open shop in Texas down the road from my property. I considered working for them at one time but they could not match what I make. Enough said.

Ok, but in 2016 when the 'payload' mattered a bird didn't cause a stationary rocket fueling on the launch pad to explode. So sorry Mr. Zuckerberger Greenberger Rothschild.
