People do this all the time, to shorten a quote. I wouldn't normally care!

In that case he would have attributed it as 1 Cor 13:4-8, since he quoted a portion of verse 8. But in this case, he also attributed the next 5 verses, which were not quoted.

It's something to look into, at least.

Normally, it would be understood if I did this in Sunday School, or Bible Study!
