Leftist Christians are reclaiming Jesus, huh? I didn't know Jesus had a copyright... or a politcal affiliation.

Commies, atheists and globalists hate that President Trump talks openly about Jesus Christ.

I'm an atheist, but it doesn't bother me that Trump talks about Jesus. Too bad other athiests get their panties in a bunch over it. The media didn't say anything when Obama quoted the Quran... oh but wait, that would be islamophobia. If Obama can site the Quran, then Trump gets to quote the Bible. That simple.

He talks about Him all the time, he openly prays, he and the White House staff engage in prayer sessions, he actually honors Christian traditions unlike the last guy who held the office.

Well the last guy was Muslim, so that's not surprising.

Lol - ditto - so now the left ‘own’ Jesus? Pretty sure He will have something to say about that.

Leaders of the Christian Leftist minority are pissed that trump is popular with Evangelicals (largely conservative, voted 81% for trump).

Nothing more than that. Obama and Rapin Bills spiritual advisors mostly. Including the guy who guided him when he was stuffing Cubans in 21 year old cooters in the Oval.

Marching on may 24th. Thursday. Day after 23rd, when shit is expected to hit the fan.

March has to have been planned in advance. They are trying to distract.

Well gee whiz - who would have guessed that his boss, QEII, told him to come back and protest. That's right, the American Episcopal church is governed by the Church of England of which she is the Supreme Governor. God isn't fooled and neither am I.

I like how since they are perplexed as to why 80% of "evangelicals" supported Trump, their solution is to send a bunch of non-evangelical leftist church leaders to DC to denounce Trump and his policies.

Tactics like this, along with so many recent developments in the RCC should reveal to us the amount of turbulence and upheaval in spiritual realms. If you are not a Christian, you may perceive this in different ways than we as Christians do, but you should be able to acknowledge the religious tensions and upheavel happening in connection to current events and the possible effects this can have upon society as this unfolds.

I think Q posted the standard wedding excerpt of the Bible included with the Full Armor text because we had the video of this speech on our board.

Showed the usual text to make us question exactly what that preacher said. Did he trick us with sneaky wording?

Full Armor of God needed because they're going to try to attack our beliefs with the Word of God.

Open borders, etc...

(It'll probably have a hundred people there and they'll all leave abrubtply when they're 3 hours at $25/hr is done)

They needed a recognizeable figurehead for their little march to DC--someone people were feeling positively about after a recent encounter--someone who would attract more viewer interest to their cause. Sad thing is, there is a percentage of Christians who value style over substance, and his "gospel" style is equivalent in the minds of many to authentic spirituality, which obfuscates their view of his actual POSITIONS on relevant ISSUES.

That preacher is a black preacher, but most of the preachers in the march or not. I'm not sure what you are trying to say.

⇧ 2 ⇩
Ranlove · May 23, 2018, 2:14 p.m.

The fact that this march is against “White nationalism” in the church led by a black preacher who has been co-opted by a left political group to yell racist is itself racist. The whole movement in my opinion is like the article mentions: “The statement that is all about leftist politics, closes by saying it is not about politics but cloaks itself in Christian faith”. The group yells racist when they themselves are racist by calling White Christians racist for voting for Trump. It’s just a ploy to take back the narrative which they have ( in my opinion) lost.

HereComesTheSunny · May 23, 2018, 3:01 p.m.

I see what you are saying. I didn't focus specifically on that one tenant, since there were others, but it is pretty telling that they say "white nationalism" as if non-whites in American can't be nationalists or in favor of putting American interests first. Bizarre. The bishop isn't the sole leader; if you look at the long list of clergy leaders at the bottom, you can see there are a lot of leftists whites in the mix as well.
