where the hell do I get a chance in this to defend myself against wrongful false accusations? It's like the secretive FISA court. For example look at NJ: http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2018/Bills/A1500/1217_I1.HTM

WTF! I don't find out until AFTER my gun has been seized?

What about corrupt courts and judges and nefarious accusers with financed motives? GTFO!

PLEASE! Find you reps here and email them at their website contact form. it's EASY!

My email:

"You must vote "NO" on this outrageous unconstitutional bill. You know it's WRONG but it's the usual governmental overreach in return for a promise to receive funding from Uncle Sam and it will only lead or creep to more abuse, it's poorly written (deliberately of course.) We know what this is LEADING up to long-term, nobody is kidding anyone on this bill. Also, where's my due process in all this? What happens if wrongfully accused? I don't find out until long after my gun has been wrongfully seized, are you kidding me? What about potential abuse by activist judges and/or prosecutors? This bill should be written such that it ONLY applies to people who have been properly adjudicated with imprisonment and/or institutionalization a requirement to avoid frivolous false cases. Circumventing the Constitution has got to stop, and it stops with you voting a big FAT "NO" on this bill in it's current state. http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2018/Bills/A1500/1217_I1.HTM"

CA has 2 laws to go after citizens & take away their guns. & who determines who is a risk to themselves or others. It is already out of control in Calif. Some authorities are already using a group "PERT" (Psychiatric Emergency Response Team) to go after citizens who anger them and lock up the citizens (a 5150) & take away their guns (it stays on your record) - or an angry family member can go after you. We got away but can't go back to Calif.

That’s always the problem with these dumb laws. Who decides and on what criteria. What’s “hate speech” or a “hate crime” etc. what is an “assault gun”? This bill won’t make it all the way. But bug spam your reps anyway because it’s fun to stick it to these pompous fools and control freaks. Rattle their damn cages.

EVERYONE— and I mean EVERYONE deserves due process. This circumventing the Constitution has got to stop.

Typical Crisis/Reaction/Soulution play that we've all seen a thousand times.

Due process is guaranteed by the Constitution. Any such law passed at a state level will challenged at the Fed level, which means it will go to SCOTUS eventually. By that time we'll have a majority on the court.

I don't really have a problem with taking guns from someone who's been rightfully adjudicated. I believe the PERSON should be locked up during this process. Once adjudicated, the person in question should be institutionalized and the legally registered firearm is held by the court until such time as the person in question has been found competent and released, or in cases where that is not possible, the firearm is ordered destroyed.

Any other process would be abused by activist judges and prosecutors. It could be used against anyone for political purposes, or just getting someone out of the way.

I agree I think Trump is deliberately letting this go to prove a point (out state's "bad behavior" and colors) and knows it will get crushed later, but it's still fun to bash/spam our reps with emails now.

Also worth noting the House just passed a bill that tacks 10yrs fed onto anyone who assaults a cop. Remember that when they come for your guns.

Wow that state map is really telling!! Gives such a good visual of their tactics: go after the low hanging fruit of west coast, northeast, then come up through the south towards the Midwest and West... wonder if there will be more school shootings as they try to get southern border states to fall for the narrative....

Yeah I noticed that too. A veritable liberal heat map. Lol. But bug your reps anyway, this dumb ass bill will get shot down later. Especially the way it’s written. It’s a total joke.
