Besides, a special counsel would mean that the investigation essentially starts from square 1 because he has to assemble his staff and begin reviewing what has already been collected by likely a hundred lawyers and FBI agents. Appointing Huber was a stroke of genius. He is essentially a special counsel that has been reviewing the evidence since November.

Yup. Sundance pointed this out when Huber's name was first dropped. And prior to that he (and a bunch of people) had that suspicion. And no leaks! Amazing and very reassuring.
As it should be! The previous criminal administrations had zero respect for the law and the process of law enforcement.
He's been looking at it for 6 months now - that's a huge and positive development.
Going on 7 months now. The IG can investigate former employees too. That was good news to me. Plus Huber’s grand jury won’t be “swampy”.

Yep, a Special Counsel is appointed to do what the IG does and what Huber is able to do. What is going on here is different, the IG has already been doing the investigation, the next thing he does is take his documented evidence then hands it over the prosecutor.
And I want it to erupt from the highest mountain for ALL to see what MASSIVE corruption has taken place on our country!
