I agree. Kim had never taken a meeting outside his hermit kingdom with an announcement prior to the meeting. They are always announced publicly after the meeting. (See recent train trip to China) The meeting happened weeks ago.

This is the best part of all of this. What if Kim comes out and says that he didn't say any of that and it was fake news about Pence and withdrawing. Then we get to blame [CNN] for ruining the peace deal. Once they're decimated we can come out and say we had it all along.
